New Zealand launches medical school to strengthen healthcare

WELLINGTON, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The New Zealand government has approved the establishment of a new medical school.

The inauguration of the country's third medical school, set to open in 2028 at the University of Waikato in the North Island, was announced on Monday.

New Zealand's current two medical schools are at Auckland and Otago universities.
