Repatriation flight with passengers from hantavirus-hit cruise lands in Perth, Australia

SYDNEY, May 15 (Xinhua) -- A repatriation flight carrying six passengers from the hantavirus-hit cruise MV Hondius landed in Perth, Australia, on Friday.

Five Australians and one New Zealander left the Netherlands late Thursday. They had tested negative for hantavirus before the flight, and none showed symptoms of the virus.

All six passengers, three crew members and a doctor are set to be transported to a quarantine facility in Bullsbrook, north of Perth, where the passengers will undergo further health screening and be quarantined for three weeks. The aircrew will also be quarantined for two weeks.
