Northbound lane blocked, SH1, Wellington

The lefthand lane heading northbound between Aotea Quay and the fork in the road is blocked, following report of a car fire.

The incident was reported to emergency services around 2.18pm.

No injuries are reported.

Fire and emergency are on scene as well as traffic control.

Motorists are to be advised of delays in the area.
