Iran Finishes 12th in U-20 Water Polo Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Iran finished in the 12th place in the 2025 World Aquatics Men's U20 Water Polo Championships in Croatia.

The young Persians lost to China 13-11 on Saturday.

Iran had defeated New Zealand and Kazakhstan, but lost to Germany, the US, Australia and China in the tournament.

Iran was headed by former national team player Ali Piroozkhah.

The World Aquatics Men's U20 Water Polo Championships was held from June 14 to 21 in Zagreb, Croatia.
